We checked into our hotel and the room was SO nice! It was like a little apartment and it was huge and we had a balcony! I was with Rebecca, Gretchen, and Bianca. We called it our bahelorette pad haha! We got ready and walked into town to have dinner. We went to this place called noodle box which was like stir fry and stuff (kind of like Thai express from home) they had this little machine like an ATM where you choose what veggies and noodles and sauce you want then it prints out a receipt that you take to the counter! Too cool. We walked back to the hotel and ate dinner.
We had free entry into this nightclub that night so we got all dressed up and had some drinks. I don't own any fancy clothes so I was wearing other girls clothes from head to toe haha we had some predrinks and hopped in a cab to the club. You have to be really fancy to go out in Gold Coast (no rubber thongs aka flip flops) so I really thought I would be so out of my zone but I ended up having a really good time! The club was insaaaaane! So many lights I felt like I was in that usher music video lmao! We danced so much and had drinks because they were on special for 4.50 lol
Made it home at about 2am and hopped into bed! I had such a great sleep and rolled out of bed at 10am bahaha I was a bit "under the weather" as I put my bathers on and headed to brekkie. My friend will had rented a surfboard and we were going for a surf whooo!
The beach was awesome but the waves were not so haha it was super windy and messy so I only went out for a bit. I did a massive nosedive epic wipeout and it was a bit too much for my sore tummy to handle lol so I just went for a dip instead haha
That night we stayed in and ordered pizza and hung out because it was Carly's last night boooo! It was so fun though, we laughed so much!
This morning we packed up and headed to currumbin wildlife sanctuary. It's a not for profit wildlife centre and animal hospital and it was absolutely amazing. We got our pictures taken holding koalas, and went into the kangaroo area and fed them and pet them and got tons of pics! I actually cried I was so so happy! We also saw tree kangaroos, crocodiles, an echidna, cassowaries and lots of birds and lizards! I have a few pics on my phone but tons on my camera so I'll post those when I get home!
Now we are on our way to Byron bay and I CANT WAIT to get there!!!! It's a hippie beach surf town that I've been wanting to go to for a really long time and I think we're going to have so much fun!!!
